"There is no garbage in the mind--only opportunity" George Muller Sc.D. In
today's world creativity is multidisciplinary. The knowledge of several
individuals may be required. These individuals must be willing and able
to share their knowledge, insights and acquired information. The timing
of shared ideas must be orchestrated with a general appreciation of a changing
environment.
"Creating" implies the occurrence/origin of new ideas or applications, but creativity involves the entire process of bringing an idea, perhaps a product or process to the marketplace of consumer utilization. The extent of utility determines profit and reward. The rewards of successful ideas, however, may not fall upon the mantle of the inventor. Roadblocks exist along the way which must be anticipated and overcome. Some of these will be subtly or otherwise apparent to the reader of this presentation. But perhaps these circumstances need not nor should not be the concern of the inventor? His reward is basic in the process itself. Can creativity be stimulated? Are there ordered pathways to enhance a
formulation or realization of new knowledge? This presentation attempts
to consider these matters and the author humbly hopes that his experiences
will be both amusing and helpful to any and all who become involved in
this inevitable ongoing process.
